Since 1978, CHAVERIAT ROBOTIQUE has designed, produced and sold digital robot ranges, as well as dedicated engines.

In order to revitalize its sales and enhance an ageing system, CHAVERIAT has had to reconsider on the whole (hardware and software) its multi-axis robot arm system and the related console.

After a detailed survey of the various feasible options, a PCN-2 platform under Pentium MMX, with Microsoft Windows CE.Net 4.2 operating system, has eventually been chosen.

The main purpose was to offer CHAVERIAT's customers a robust solution that could be configured through an updated intuitive graphical interface.

During the first evaluation stage, THEORIS carried out a first requirement analysis, specified the overall architecture of the console software, and handle further missions (such as development of a real time runtime system and MMI demonstration) to approve defined concepts.

To achieve the operational system to be sold, CHAVERIAT delegated to THEORIS the whole software development.
