In 2010, THEORIS proceeds with its development strategy and hires ten or so Software Architects and Project Engineers to take part in high-tech projects, in the following fields:
  • Embedded Software and Real-Time Systems (Windows or Linux)
  • Digital TV and multimedia
  • Augmented reality
  • Distributed Computing and Oriented Object technologies


Missions


As a Software Architect, you are in charge of:
  • Understanding customers' needs, identifying projects constraints;
  • Advising decision-makers in their technological choice process;
  • Defining and implementing architectures matching with the technical and functional environment;
  • Stimulate development teams by transferring the appropriate knowledge.

Your missions, as a Project Engineer, are to:
  • Take part in project design phase;
  • Bring your perfect knowledge of underlying technologies to the development;
  • Highlight your skills during development, testing, integration and validation stages;
  • Formalise and produce information required for project evolution and maintenance;
  • Adapt to the various functional areas met.



Candidate Profile


Graduated from an engineering school or a university (BAC +5), you have a successful 2-5 years experience in design and development:
  • Embedded software in C/C++ (BSP, drivers, lower layer and dedicated applications) under Windows Embedded (CE and XPe), RTX, Linux or any other proprietary OS;
  • Technical applications in multi-task and distributed environment in C#/C++/Java (middleware, connected applications) with a perfect know-how of object-oriented technologies (methodology, tools and .NET/J2EE frameworks);
  • Digital TV and multimedia dedicated software (set top box, head end, video streaming) based mainly on technologies such as IPTV, DVB, MHP, MPEG or H264.
English is required for these positions.
